Description of the project:
L.Z. Form Industrial, Commercial and Service Ltd. was established in 2002 and is owned by two private individuals; it has been in operation ever since. Our toolmaking business has a 30-year history, which we have expanded to include plastic injection moulding and, later, the manufacture of medical devices. The three areas of specialisation within our family-run business enable us to carry out the testing of completed tools, followed by any necessary repairs or modifications, within our own premises, and to handle the manufacture, cleaning, assembly and packaging of components in-house. It is important to us that we conduct our operations in an environmentally responsible manner. Our primary objective is to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the modernisation of building energy systems and by partially meeting our electricity demand using renewable energy sources. This objective can be achieved most effectively by installing a solar panel system.
Our company has successfully applied for funding under the Széchenyi 2020 Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme, specifically the call for proposals entitled “Support for building energy efficiency improvements aimed at increasing the use of renewable energy and and Increasing Energy Efficiency’ (code GINOP-4.1.4-19), under which it secured a non-repayable grant of 8.94 million forints, alongside a contribution of 7.32 million forints from its own resources, to implement the project with a total cost of 16.25 million forints. With the help of European Union funding, a solar panel system was installed at the company’s site in Ajka.
The project is being implemented between 2 November 2020 and 4 November 2021, with the support of the European Union, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Hungarian state budget.
